This is my birth story
I had my angel in February. My preggy days were smooth, no morning sickness just that I became dark and ugly. Yea you heard me, my baby took all my beauty.
I went for my first scan at 9weeks, the doctor gave me 16th Feb as my EDD. So fast forward to January this year I had my second scan and the date was 4th Februry. My sisters, 4th February came and hubby wouldn’t let me rest. H|e will always ask when will u give birth,has labour not started? Hian! I became an answering machine.
On 10th February I went for antenatal. I wanted to deliver because I couldn’t wait to see what my baby looked like, whether she will be fair or dark like hubby. On tuesday the next day I started having contractions. I couldn’t sleep at night. Then the next day I saw show when I went to pee. I called mom and she advised I head to the hospital, which I did and doctor sent me home because I had not dilated.
Then on Thursday being Valentine’s day, I and hubby went out and the contractions became serious but I was enduring. When we came home I couldn’t stand, chai the real labour started. Hubby rushed me to the hospital and doctor checked I was 4cm dilated so my baby stuffs were brought. My sisters I saw nwii that night being my first pregnancy; I never experienced such pain in my life. I could neither stand, sit nor lie down, pls don’t ask if I was floating in the air o. I laboured through the night, I shouted and wailed.
The next morning being Friday 15th at around 6:30 am the doctor checked me again and I heard him tell the nurses “let’s help this woman”. Then I proceeded to the delivery room, my beautiful sisters my bundle of happiness came exactly by 6:10am.
She is 3months and 2 weeks already.
