You, like most parents may have been spending a lot of money on diapers, due to a little size-related mistake. How did we all miss this one?
The (+) sign has got us fooled, and seen us wasting good money all these years. If only someone pointed that out earlier. Actually, the information has been there on different brands’ websites, just that we happened to miss it somehow.
Well it’s never too late to save up a few bucks, because it’s been revealed that the + sign on diapers doesn’t mean bigger; rather, it means more absorbency!
So, a size 3+ doesn’t mean size 3 and half, but size 3 with added absorbency.
If you’ve been changing your little one’s diaper too frequently due to increased leakage, you might want to switch to the one with the (+) sign, thereby reducing the number of diapers you use per day.
The Asda website explains that the (+) diapers are ideal for night time sleep, babies who drink a lot, or babies with a large bladder.
According to Manchester Evening News, mum of two, Nicci shared a post about the meaning of the symbol on Facebook saying: “Who knew this? I always thought the plus ones went up higher on the back.”
And a lot of moms agreed that they thought it meant bigger size. What about you?
