The period a couple is trying to conceive (TTC) can be very challenging. The stress of trying out different treatment options; the sinking disappointment when each one fails; the scary feeling of not knowing when exactly your wishes will be granted; and not forgetting the scathing comments some people make, whether knowingly or unknowingly. All these are both physically and mentally draining.
How exactly can one cope in these trying times? We’ve heard about a couple that uses laughter as their coping mechanism. In this vlog, Berry Dakara talks about things to do to make the wait easier and more bearable.
If you’ve been following her blog, you would know she’s been very open about her TTC journey, so as to let other people in the same situation know they are not alone.
She recommends not focusing on your problem, but sharing in the joy of people that have been blessed with babies. Also, every new month should be seen as a new opportunity to achieve a goal, example losing some weight.
