Pregnancy yoga is a good way to relax the mind and exercise the body. It improves circulation as well as sleep. It strengthens hip and pelvic floor muscles, and relieves aches and pains. Also, the breathing and relaxation technique practiced in yoga helps with pain management during labour. It’s a win-win situation!

As a matter of fact, it is said that a pregnant woman who practices yoga will have an easier pregnancy and labour.

A word of caution though, not all kinds of exercise is suitable for everyone. Always seek expert advice before engaging in certain activities. Know your body and do only what you can manage.
